What’s your best tool for blocking high-risk users?

We're starting to push into new markets, and the fraud attempts came fast. New accounts registering from weird proxies, trying to exploit coupons, and then vanishing. We can’t afford to kill growth with clunky verification, but we also can’t keep playing whack-a-mole with bad actors. Someone once mentioned a flexible ID system that adapts — anyone here using one that doesn’t wreck the user journey?
