#1
Japanese fashion brand Uniqlo has become a favorite destination for anime and gaming fans worldwide, offering affordable fashion collaborations with some of the biggest names in these genres. Known for its wide range of t-shirt collaborations with popular series like Pokémon, Attack on Titan, Chainsaw Man, and Final Fantasy, Uniqlo is easily accessible through its global stores and online presence. Currently, fans can find shirts featuring designs from One Piece and Kaiju No. 8.

This month, Uniqlo announced an exciting new line launching in mid-September, at least in Japan, in collaboration with popular Japanese musician Kenshi Yonezu. Yonezu, well-known for his contributions to anime and video game music, is now lending his creative talents to a line of t-shirts inspired by some of his most famous works. The collection also includes a special piece by legendary filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki.

The Kenshi Yonezu collection features six t-shirt designs, each inspired by a song or single the artist has released for an anime, video game, or his latest album, Stray Sheep. One of the standout pieces is a white shirt featuring Denji, the main character from Chainsaw Man, celebrating Yonezu's hit song "Kick Back," the anime's opening theme. This song made history as the first Japanese track to be certified gold by the Record Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Other shirts in the collection include a design based on Yonezu's "Pop Song," which he created for a 2022 PlayStation commercial. The character featured on this shirt was drawn by Yonezu himself and appeared in the "Play Has No Limits" commercial. Another design pays homage to Yonezu's song "M87," the main theme for the 2022 film Shin Ultraman, featuring a black shirt with an Ultraman illustration by Yonezu.

Final Fantasy XVI is also represented in the collection with a design featuring Torgal, the fan-favorite wolf from the game, drawn by Yonezu and printed on the back of a black shirt with the game's logo on the front. Yonezu performed the Japanese theme song for the game, "Tsuki Wo Miteita - Moongazing."
The final shirt in the Kenshi Yonezu collection is especially noteworthy, standing out as a unique offering for fans in Japan. All six shirts showcase Yonezu's distinct artistic style and celebrate his contributions to both music and visual art, making this collection a must-have for fans of his work.
